Welcome to Cabarrus Farms

Cabarrus Farms is located in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. We are in Midland, just outside Charlotte, NC.

At Cabarrus farms, we live and promote a healthy lifestyle. After taking note of all the chemicals we used for cleaning our bodies, and all the preservatives we were consuming we decided to make a change to a healthier, natural, chemical free environment.

Steve has been building Chicken Tractors/Arks. We raise chickens for the fresh eggs and free range meat. After building the Catawba coop from plans purchased on line, Steve has redesigned the Ark to make it more user friendly. Most cities’ now allow the homeowner to keep chickens. We make cheese from hormone free fresh milk. After using several of the cheese presses purchased on e-bay, and other cheese making suppliers and not being satisfied, Steve has produced a “Dutch style cheese press” It has been designed for easy trouble free operation. After all cheese making should be fun, not a struggle with poor, untested equipment. This press is used daily in cheese production and is well tested. Erica have been making Artisan soaps which are all natural and chemical free. She has been selling the soaps at local farmers markets, craft festivals, and is also sold at specialty shops and exclusive spas. They leave your skin feeling really soft and clean without any residue. Natural oils, spices, oatmeal, beeswax (from our hives) are added to provide total allergy free skin care.
